This season we spoke about women who influenced the built environment in some way outside the profession of architecture, and man did we have so much fun sharing their stories. What were some of your favorite episodes? Which lady caught your attention? Did you hear similarities between the ladies from this season or to previous seasons? Take a listen to today’s episode to know our thoughts. We hope that through the podcast you have learned about the amazing ladies that we discussed. We continue to be inspired to learn more and we hope you are too. We are going on a short break while we develop season four and we’ll be back in August. The Agora
We will be adding a few new segments to our usual format. The first one is that during our typical full-length episodes we’ll be including a segment called ‘The Agora’. In Greek society, the agora was the central meeting place of the city where news was shared. We want to invite you listeners to share any exciting news that’s happening in your lives so that we can share the excitement and the wins together.

She Builds Charettes
On our Charrettes, or mini-episodes, we will talk more about certain topics, make major announcements, or conduct interviews. Basically, She Builds Charrettes will be our playground for things outside of our typical format. No need to worry, we are still doing our regular show. For some background for those who might not know, a charrette in architecture is a quick design competition. The word charrette in French translates to ‘cart’ or ‘chariot’ and the competition is called that because there was a cart that would come around the studio at the end of the competition, and you had to get your project on the cart before it left the studio.
Be sure to send us any thoughts of what you would like us to talk about. Comment below!
